The cognitive psychology of Internet gaming disorder
Patients with heroin addiction entering opioid agonist or therapeutic community treatment
The main aim of the present study was to verify whether the five psychopathological dimensions identified through the SCL-90 tool in a previous study carried out on patients with heroin addiction entering an outpatient opioid agonist treatment (OAT) were also observable in those entering a residential treatment community (TC).

Elevated oleic acid serum concentrations and Alcohol Dependence
The goal of this research was to explore whether there is a significant change of serum FA composition in patients suffering from alcohol dependence. An elevated oleic acid ratio seems to be a state marker for acute alcohol use. It may be a relevant trait marker during detoxification and the subsequent therapeutic measures.

Forced Smoking Abstinence
Tobacco use contributes to over 400 000 deaths annually. Many successful interventions have been developed for smoking cessation, but the success of smoking relapse–prevention interventions is limited. Forced tobacco abstinence alone during incarceration has little impact on postrelease smoking status. Does a behavioral intervention provided prior to the release improve smoking cessation?
