ADHD - Fact Sheet
The objective of this study was to estimate the fraction of a year of life lost associated with delirium at 1-year follow-up. Although delirium is an acute condition, it is associated with premature mortality.

Neuroregeneration and Dementia: Treatment Options
With longer life span one of the major health concerns is dementia.
The aim of this review is to highlight some of the newest aspects of therapeutic strategies that can improve natural neuroregeneration.

Delirium Predicts Mortality
The goal of this study was to determine the independent effects of presence of delirium, type of delirium and severity of delirium symptoms on 12-month mortality. Among patients with delirium without dementia, greater severity of delirium symptoms was associated with higher mortality.

HIV-associated neurocognitive disorders
Disruption of neurocognitive functioning is a complication in patients infected with HIV.
Neurocognitive tests and accessible tools that can identify patients with increased risk of cognitive impairment represent an urgent requirement.

ADHD in Adults - Survey of Practice
The nature of care for adult ADHD patients in both psychiatric and primary care settings is in need to be determined. Therefore, to address this issue, the study sought to describe the referral paths that lead adults to ADHD treatment and to determine if patterns of diagnosis and treatment differ between psychiatric and primary care settings.
